Educational Scholarship

The Otsego County Farm Bureau offers a one-year, non-renewable grant offered to members to be used to attend a university, college, business or technical school.

Applicants and/or their parents must be an Otsego County Farm Bureau member. Preference will be given to students taking agricultural-related studies. Winners may use the scholarship to attend a University, College, Business or Technical school. The scholarship is a one year, non-renewable scholarship. Applicants must: " Achieve a "C" grade average in High School and maintain a 2.0 grade point average in college. " Applications must be sent to the Scholarship Committee (c/o the county office) and received by April 15th of the current year. " Applicants receiving a scholarship will be notified by the committee. " One-half the grant will be awarded at the beginning of the first semester. Upon receiving a copy of the winner's first semester grades with at least a 2.0 grade point average, the second half will be awarded.
